 Cycling Club Social Media Policy: Prohibition of Negative Information Posting

Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to maintain a positive and respectful environment within our cycling club and to ensure that the reputation of the team is upheld at all times.

Policy Statement:
Members of Rogue Racing are prohibited from posting any negative information, photos or comments about the team, its members, sponsors, races, or any related activities on social media platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and any other online forums or messaging services.

Guidelines:

Respect and Positivity: Members should always use social media to positively promote the team, its activities, and its members. Posts should reflect the club’s values of respect, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

Conflict Resolution:
Any issues, concerns, or grievances should be addressed directly with the club leadership or through the appropriate internal channels, not through social media.

Professionalism:
When representing the club online, members should maintain a high level of professionalism and avoid engaging in arguments, disputes, or any form of negative dialogue.

Consequences:
Violation of this policy will result in suspension or termination of membership, depending on the severity of the infraction as determined by the disciplinary committee comprised of executive board.

Review and Acknowledgment:
All members are required to read and acknowledge this policy. By being a member of the Rogue Racing Cycling Team you agree to adhere to this policy and understand the consequences of non-compliance.

Effective Date:
This policy is effective immediately and applies to all current and future members of  Rogue Racing Cycling Team.
